The UIAA in Banff

The UIAA (Union Internationale des Associations d’Alpinisme, or International Mountaineering and Climbing Federation) had its annual gathering in Banff in the fall of 2006, in support of the celebrations of the Alpine Club of Canada’s centennial.

As part of this UIAA gathering, there were several events available to the general public at The Banff Centre.
