Raymonde April is an artist living in Montréal. She was born in Moncton, New Brunswick, and attended art college at Rivière-du-Loup and l’Université Laval in Quebec. She is a co-founder of la Chambre Blanche, an artist-run centre in Quebec City. Her work has been exhibited across Canada and in Europe, including the Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal and Espace Colbert at the Bibliothèque Nationale in Paris. Until 1986, she taught part-time in the department of visual arts at the University of Ottawa and now teaches photography at Concordia University. Contributor to: |
