Stan Persky teaches philosophy at Capilano College in North Vancouver, B.C. and is a book columnist for the Vancouver Sun. He has written several books, including Buddy's: Meditations on Desire (1989), Then We Take Berlin (1995), and Autobiography of a Tattoo (1997).
