Legislative Authority

The Banff Centre operates under the authority of the Post-Secondary Learning Act, Revised Statutes of Alberta to which amendments were proclaimed in December 2008, and is part of Alberta’s system of Advanced Education and Technology

Organization

President and Chief Executive Officer: responsible for general administration, Planning and Freedom of Information and Privacy, Development, Communications, and Conferences.

Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer: responsible for general administration, Financial Services, Human Resources, Information Technology Services, Safety and Security, and Physical Faciltities

Vice-President, Programming: responsible for all programming including Arts (Music and Sound, Theatre, Visual Arts, Film & Media, Literary Arts, Aboriginal Arts, Library and Archives), Leadership Development.
