This workshop focused on the curriculum development process for online and electronic educational tools. It asked the question: How can we convert existing curriculum, develop it specifically for the interactive environment and enhance the learner’s experience through interactivity? Participants applied the basics of the instructional design process to plan and initiate the development of instructionally sound, interactive educational applications. They learned the strategies, tactics and techniques to help build quality interactive applications. This workshop was designed for educators, educational multimedia developers and media producers and was a recommended companion to the Educational Multimedia Workshop that followed. The workshop was taught by one of Canada’s leading educational multimedia designers.
