Meeting Rooms

The Banff Centre's newest meeting facility, the Kinnear Centre includes 17 fully-equipped meeting rooms of varying sizes and flexibility. The building also houses the Maclab Bistro and the Paul D. Fleck Library & Archives. The Shaw Amphitheatre is adjacent to the Kinnear Centre, on the Bourgeau valley side.

BMO Financial Group Galleria

This open lobby space, enhanced by skylights on the top level, extends through all three floors of the Kinnear Centre. The Galleria is adjacent to banquet kitchen facilities on the ground floor, as well as all meeting spaces on every floor. The space is designed for receptions, refreshment breaks, exhibits, registration, or other informal gatherings.

Husky Great Hall
Multipurpose Room 101

This meeting room features views of the magnificent Bourgeau mountain range, and can accommodate groups up to 175. The room is on the ground floor of the Kinnear Centre, and opens onto the BMO Financial Group Galleria on the interior, and to the patio and Shaw Amphitheatre on the exterior. It can be joined to 103, or combined with 103 and 105.

 

 

Husky Great Hall
Multipurpose Room 103

This meeting room features views of the magnificent Bourgeau mountain range, and can accommodate groups up to 266. The room is on the ground floor of the Kinnear Centre, and opens onto the BMO Financial Group Galleria on the interior, and to the patio and Shaw Amphitheatre on the exterior. It can be joined to 101, or joined to 105, or as part of a combination of 101, 103, and 105.

Multipurpose Room 105

This meeting room features views of the magnificent Bourgeau mountain range, and can accommodate groups up to 175. The room is on the ground floor of the Kinnear Centre, and opens onto the BMO Financial Group Galleria on the interior, and to the patio and Shaw Amphitheatre on the exterior. It can be joined to 103, or combined with 101 and 103.

Shaw Amphitheatre

This specially designed open outdoor amphitheatre faces the magnificent Bourgeau mountain range, and seats audiences of over 1,600. There is formal terraced seating for 470, and room for an additional 1,160 people on a grassy landscaped slope. The amphitheatre is adjacent to the patio off the multi-purpose rooms on the ground floor of the Kinnear Centre.

 

Second Floor

Meeting Room 201

This meeting room features views of the magnificent Bourgeau mountain range, and can accommodate groups up to 175. The room is on the second floor of the Kinnear Centre, and opens onto the BMO Financial Group Galleria on the interior, and includes a balcony which looks out on the Bourgeau Valley. It can be joined to 203, or combined with 203 and 205.

Gibson Energy Room

The Gibson Energy Room windows look toward the central commons area embraced by Lloyd Hall and the Sally Borden Building, and can accommodate groups up to 30. The room is on the second floor of the Kinnear Centre, and opens onto the BMO Financial Group Galleria on the interior.

This meeting room features views of the magnificent Bourgeau mountain range, and can accommodate groups up to 266. The room is on the second floor of the Kinnear Centre, and opens onto the BMO Financial Group Galleria on the interior, and includes a balcony which looks out on the Bourgeau Valley.
