November 25 – The KaosPilots and Creative Education with Simon Kavanagh
It’s an interesting, and subtle distinction in phrasing. KaosPilot, a unique educational institution based in Denmark, has as its vision to “be the best school for the world.” Not “in” the world. But “for” the world.
The KaosPilots are Masters-level students who pursue a mind-boggling gamut of creative projects and studies throughout the world. They are coached to become enterprising leaders who navigate change for the benefit of themselves, and also for society as a whole.
Our November Speakers’ Series guest is Simon Kavanagh, head of studies at KaosPilot education in Aarhus, Denmark. Simon will describe how KaosPilot’s ambition is nothing short of creating the next generation of institutions and communities, where change makers, creative and social entrepreneurs and value-based leaders are fostered.
The KaosPilots strive to be the best school for the world by creating the frames where young, creative minds become creative leaders. KaosPilots want to foster and realize their potential and ideas pertaining to growth, meaning and sustainability for the benefit of people, communities, organizations and societies. The KaosPilot programs are as such dynamic cultural systems with a principled idea of motivating young people to learn and to create.
Join us as we look at the origins and recent developments and future plans of this school as it approaches its 20th year anniversary.
