	Artistic director John Alleyne’s second full-length story ballet is based on the Greek myth of Orpheus and Eurydice, a tragic tale of love and loss amongst the Gods. Since its inception in 1986, Ballet British Columbia has quickly become an internationally respected dance company noted for bold, provocative and innovative work with a strong classical base. Under the leadership of artistic director John Alleyne, the company has developed a signature performance style featuring 14 dancers chosen for their power, strength and ability.
