Never afraid to push the envelope, Jane Bunnett, Canada’s celebrated jazz composer, bandleader, soprano saxophonist, and flutist, has embarked on another groundbreaking project, Embracing Voices. Collaborating with Grupo Vocal Desandann, the legendary ten-person ensemble that honours the legacy of Haitian a capella music in Cuba, this new collection of songs has been hailed as “the standard by which vocal music and instruments make music in harmony.”
