The Banff Centre Presents offers some of the most inspiring and diverse performing artists in the world today. We invite you to be part of performance experiences that move, unite, question, and comfort.

In addition to a fabulous season of live arts experiences, The Banff Centre has redesigned the visiting artists series to bring you greater diversity, varying perspectives, and world-class performances from around the globe. In addition to spectacular dance, music, and theatre, we are launching a Performances for Families Series, tailored for young people and their parents. We’ve also changed our name! Playbill is now The Banff Centre Presents, encompassing The Banff Centre’s spirit of fostering the creation of new art and the development of artists’ careers.

The 2009-10 Visiting Artists Series opens on September 15 with the Jazz at Lincoln Centre Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis — a performance not to be missed. And through the season, the performance experiences will remain as rich and wonderful as opening night. You can experience master artists, new works, performers from around the world, and those home-grown here in Alberta. For the best seats and savings, subscribe.

The season also sees the launch of Performances for Families, a new series for children and their families.
