If ordering over the phone, our Box Office staff will assist you.

Receiving Your Tickets

Tickets booked more than 2 weeks prior to your first performance can be mailed for an additional $1 charge, otherwise you can collect all your tickets directly from the Box Office during regular business hours or at Will Call on the day of the performance.

If you are picking up tickets at Will Call on the day of the performance please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the performance. Please present your confirmation number or photo ID when collecting your tickets.

Refunds

All sales are final and we do not offer refunds. Due to the nature of the performing arts, programs are subject to change without notice and tickets will not be refunded.

Ticket Exchanges

Ticket exchanges within the Visiting Artist Series can be made for series subscription ticket holders only (subject to availability). To exchange performances, your tickets need to be returned to the box office at least 24 hours prior to the performance night of your tickets or the night you wish to exchange to, whichever comes first. Tickets cannot be exchanged after the performance has passed. Exchanges can only be made for tickets of the same or higher price. Subscribers will be responsible for paying the difference for a higher priced ticket. Should you wish to exchange for a performance with a lower ticket price, the difference will not be refunded. If you cannot visit the Box Office in person to exchange your tickets, please call the Box Office to find other methods of returning your tickets.

If you cannot make a performance (and you are a Series subscriber) it is imperative that you exchange your tickets at least 24 hours prior to the performance date on your ticket.

Age Recommendations

The Banff Centre is committed to providing quality cultural experiences for all ages, although some performances may not be suitable for children. We make an effort to inform audiences of mature content prior to a performance, but due to the nature of the performing arts, we are not always aware in advance. Refunds will not be provided on the basis of content of performances. If you have questions about the suitability of a performance for an audience member of a specific age, please call the Box Office for assistance.

Regardless of age, all audience members must have a ticket. In general we recommend that audience members be four years of age or older in order for everyone to fully enjoy the performance. We strongly advise that infants younger than one not attend performances for the safety and comfort of the child and the enjoyment of the rest of the audience. If children are disruptive during a performance, they may be asked to leave. For safety reasons some performances are not suitable for young children and they will not be admitted. The Box Office can be of assistance in determining the best performances for children. If you are attending with a child please inform the Box Office so they can assist you with making the best seat selection.

A Children’s ticket is for those 12 and under. Students are admitted with valid student identification. Please note: for Stuart McLean and a Vinyl Cafe Christmas, students must be 18 years or younger.
