Pauline Holdstock
Pauline Holdstock is an internationally published novelist. Her first book, The Blackbird’s Song, nominated for the Best First Novel Award, has just been reissued in paperback. Her most recent novel, Beyond Measure, nominated for the Commonwealth Book Prize and the Giller Prize, was the winner of the 2005 Ethel Wilson Prize for fiction. Pauline has taught at the Victoria School of Writing and at the writing department of the University of Victoria.
