Jane Mingay
Jane Mingay has worked in television for 25 years. She has produced, directed, written, and commissioned hundreds of stories, including documentaries and specials. After working as a producer at CBC and CTV, Mingay spent more than eight years at Discovery Channel, where she did a stint as the executive producer of the nightly science show “Daily Planet”. In 2003, she returned to the public broadcaster as a senior producer (“Disclosure”, “Fifth Estate” specials, and “Test the Nation”). She has won numerous awards, including two Geminis. After years of plotting a move back to Newfoundland (where she lived and worked in the 1980s), Mingay realized her dream. She is now living happily ever after in St. John’s.
