Lisa Moore
Lisa Moore was born and raised in St. John’s, Newfoundland. She studied art at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design. Lisa has done some animation work, written for television, radio, as well art criticism. She has worked with an organization called Choices for Youth, which was set up after Mount Cashel closed to provide care for youth and taught creative writing there, as well as fine art. Her work has appeared in Canada’s most prestigious literary magazines and anthologies. She is the author of the acclaimed book of short stories Degrees of Nakedness. She lives in St. John’s with her husband and two children, and is currently working on a novel.
