Joan Clark
Joan Clark's 15 works of fiction have been published in a dozen foreign editions. Among her many awards is the Marian Engel Award for a body of adult fiction and the Vicky Metcalf Award for a body of children's fiction. Her most recent adult book is An Audience of Chairs published by Knopf in 2005. A children's novel, Road to Bliss,will be published by Doubleday in 2009. She lives in St. John's, Newfoundland.
