Lorae is a West Coast big band trumpet artist who has contributed to various projects including big band workshops and concerts with Bobby Shew, Jeff Hamilton, Maria Schneider, Rufus Reid, and Kenny Wheeler. Lorae is currently a member of the Vancouver Ensemble of Jazz Improvisation (VEJI) and Ian McDougall’s Victoria-based big band, which performs each Monday night in Victoria.
