
Sarah Lasch
Sarah Lasch has just successfully completed her master of arts in the joint program in Communication and Culture at Ryerson University and York University in Toronto. She currently works as a commercial producer for CTV television. She also enjoys her job as a teaching assistant for a course on the sociology of popular culture and as a researcher on a federally funded project on online social networks. Before moving to Toronto, she spent a year at the Banff New Media Institute learning about interactive technology and film. In 2004, she received her bachelor of arts honours in Media, Information and Technoculture at the University of Western Ontario. In her spare time she is a filmmaker and new media artist whose work uses humour on the the surface to facilitate a deeper focus on questions of identities of race and gender.
