about Film & Media
Film & Media at The Banff Centre is devoted to content creation, capture and dissemination in digital film, audio, and interactive media. Programming includes Artist residencies (from pre-production through to post and cross platform broadcast delivery), creative training workshops, and professional training opportunities through our Work Study programs. Film & Media also produces the Banff Mountain Film and Book Festival, and houses the Photography and Technical services areas. In all Film & Media activity, there is an emphasis on the development of significant collaborations, coproductions, and cross platform broadcast opportunities within Banff Centre Radio, Banff Centre Live, and with external industry partners.
