Digital Film & Media Production’s production and post-production facilities include Rice Studio, a fully-equipped 230 square-metre (2500 square-foot) television studio space with painted chroma key green cyclorama and computerized lighting board. Our production complement includes BetaCamSP, DVCAM 570, Panasonic Varicam HD cameras, a Panther dolly, and an extensive lighting package with both tungsten and HMI lamps.

Within a fully networked environment, our post-production facilities include an Avid Media composer 2000, Avid Express HD, Avid Adrenaline HD, and non-linear systems. Playback and recording devices include support of BetacamSP, DVCAM, DVCPro, DVCPro HD, and D5. We also run Spruce Technologies’ DVD authoring software with Pinnacle capture and encoding hardware and Primera DVD/CD duplicating systems.

The cost of some services may be subsidized through participants’ Banff Centre residencies and co-productions.
