Aug. 19 to Sept. 3, 2006 — Frobisher Workshop #6 at The Banff Centre — Complete Act I and II Piano/Vocal Score — workshop involved John Estacio, John Murrell, John Hess, Kelly Robinson, Sue LePage, Daniele Guevara (assistant to Ms LePage), Patsy Thomas (wardrobe), Colleen Bonniol (projections), four chorus, nine singers, and two repetiteurs.
August 26, 2006 — Frobisher special workshop segment presentation for invited guests, Rolston Recital Hall, The Banff Centre.
September, 2006 — Calgary Opera Chorus begins rehearsals for world premiere.
October, 2006 — Bob and Colleen Bonniol, projection designers, contracted.
November, 2006 — Arrival of the production team — over 30 people consisting of professionals and aspiring arts technicians (work-study participants) begin to build the scenic elements, costumes, and props for Frobisher.
2007
January 2, 2007 — Calgary Opera begins rehearsals for world premiere of Frobisher.
January 27, 2007 — Calgary Opera presents the world premiere of Frobisher at the Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium. (Other performances: January 31, and February 2, 2007)
August 8, 2007 — The 2007 Banff Summer Arts Festival features The Banff Centre’s premiere of Frobisher. (Other performances: August 10, and 12, 2007)
