Accommodation - The Professional Development Centre (PDC), a spectacular pine lodge, offers superior bedrooms and suites with full hotel amenities and stone fireplaces. Lloyd Hall offers standard bedrooms and suites, all of which have been recently renovated. Both the PDC and Lloyd Hall boast expansive windows that allow guests to experience and enjoy the full beauty of The Banff Centre’s natural mountain setting. Meals – ITG delegates will have a range of dining options – from the 350-seat Vistas Dining Room with spectacular views of the Bourgeau Mountain Range, to the Kiln Café & General Store for specialty coffee and snacks. Other options include the Three Ravens Restaurant, Gooseberry Deli, and The Three Ravens Wine Bar or Props Pub for after performance drinks. Performance and Lecture Spaces – ITG events will take place in the 950-seat Eric Harvie Theatre, the 330-seat Max Bell Auditorium, the 250-seat Margaret Greenham Theatre, the 225-seat Rolston Recital Hall, and The Club – an intimate space for after hours jazz. In addition, the Music & Sound Building has numerous studios and rehearsal spaces, as well as practice huts tucked into the trees adjacent to the building. Exhibit Hall – The Max Bell Building and the TransCanada Pipelines Pavillion have over a dozen sound insulated classrooms and break-out rooms of various sizes – perfect for the ITG exhibit hall. Sally Borden Recreation Facility - ITG delegates will enjoy the 25-metre swimming pool and hot tub, weight and exercise room, climbing wall, squash court, and gymnasiums at our recreation centre. Paul D. Fleck Library and Archives – With its extensive fine and performing arts collection, ITG delegates should take the time visit this special place. |
