Patricia O'CallaghanAn accomplished vocalist in contemporary opera and cabaret music, Patricia O’Callaghan trained at the University of Toronto and The Banff Centre before releasing her first recording, Youkali, which featured songs by Kurt Weill, Erik Satie, and Francis Poulenc. Signed by Teldec / Warner, she has just released her fourth CD, Naked Beauty. In 2004 O’Callaghan collaborated with the Gryphon Trio, composer Christos Hatzis, and Arabic vocalist Maryem Tollar in the acclaimed original music presentation Constantinople. She has performed principal roles with Vancouver Opera, Edmonton Opera, Soulpepper Theatre Company, and Tapestry New Opera Works.
