Banff Centre formalizes research partnership
with HP Labs

The Banff Centre has a signed a memorandum of understanding with HP, expressing its intention to formalize a two-year research collaboration between the Centre’s Banff New Media Institute and HP Labs. “With the support of the Government of Alberta, the Centre will work with HP to research content and applications for mobile digital devices such as PDAs and digital phones,” says Sara Diamond, director of research at The Banff Centre.
