The Banff Centre Invites Audiences to Fall in Love
with the Arts

More than 60 arts events for $60 is The Banff Centre’s new promotional pitch for the summer of 2002, with the launch of the Arts Lover program.

"During the summer months we showcase the richness and diversity of what is done at The Banff Centre in the training and professional development of artists and the creation of new work," says Joanne Morrow, Senior Vice President at The Banff Centre. "Summer programming includes more than 100 public events, from opera to exhibitions, Shakespeare to Aboriginal Dance. This year, we are doing two things differently. We are condensing the Banff Arts Festival into three peak weeks within our longer summer season, and, we are introducing an Arts Lover program for audiences." This new program has been created to encourage audiences to experience the bounty of arts events presented at The Banff Centre during the summer months.

Summer arts events start on May 2 and run through to August 17.

This year’s Banff Arts Festival runs from July 12 – August 4.

A full listing of summer events and Banff Arts Festival Events can be found at: www.banffcentre.ca/baf.

Arts Lover Passes are now on sale at a price of $60 for one pass or $100 for two passes.
