Peter Gillman

Peter Gillman is an
investigative journalist formerly with the London Sunday Times. One of Britain's
leading mountaineering writers, he has a dozen books to his name, including The
Wildest Dream: The Biography of George Mallory, which he coauthored with his wife
Leni Gillman, Eiger Direct and his acclaimed anthology Everest. He has
won five merit awards from the British Outdoor Writers Guild. In 1992, the Gillmans
journeyed through Tibet, retracing the steps of Mallory's 1921 Everest reconnaissance
expedition. Peter and Leni live in south London, England.
