Return to Everest (3D/2D) reunites Jamling Norgay and Araceli Segarra with the Sherpa climbers who helped them reach the summit in 1996, and enters the lives of the Solu-Khumbu mountain people who have hosted thousands of expeditions since the arrival of western climbers to Nepal in 1950. This is the sequel to the 1998 hit film Everest.

Set in Europe’s most celebrated mountain range, this breathtaking cinematic adventure follows John Harlin and his attempt to climb the infamous North Face of the Eiger—the iconic peak that claimed his father’s life 40 years ago. This 6,000-foot vertical face of jagged limestone is considered one of the most difficult climbs in Europe. John is joined by renowned climbers Robert and Daniela Jasper for this emotional adventure. Originally created for IMAX Theatres, The Alps features groundbreaking cinematography filmed under extreme filmmaking conditions.
