Kimberly Endres
Kim Endres joined the Association for Mountain Parks
Protection and Enjoyment (AMPPE) from the Alberta
Government, where she was Executive Assistant and chief
political advisor to Children's Services Minister Iris
Evans. Kim has a strong passion to develop positive
visitor experiences and strong ecological values that
make the mountain national parks such exceptional
places. She understands what is required to protect the
environment without unnecessarily sacrificing human
activities. Kim recently advised as a member of the
Banff and Jasper National Park Annual Planning Forums,
on issues such as Human Use Management in Banff, Lake
Louise and Waterton, TransCanada Highway Twinning,
proposed National Park fee increases, Evan Thomas
Management Plan, and visitor experience investment. Kim
is an avid skier, hiker, runner and mountain biker.
