Research Coordinator for the Northern Rocky Mountain
Science Center of the U. S. Geological Survey. He is
stationed at Glacier National Park, Montana and is a

Mountain Initiative, a program to tie mountain science
across different areas, and is active in several
international science networks that address mountain
issues. He co-authored a book on national parks and
protected areas due to be published in late 2004.
