Derek Petersen is a Parks Canada Integrated Land Use Specialist working in the Lake Louise, Yoho and Kootenay National Parks Field Unit. He has a diploma in Renewable Resources Technology, a degree in Environmental Studies and a Masters of Science specializing in Human/Environment Interactions. His interests are in the integration of natural and social systems in protected areas management.
