Ralf Buckley is
Professor and Director of the International Centre
for Ecotourism Research, established at Griffith
University in 1993. He is Director, Nature and
Adventure Tourism for the Cooperative Research
Centre for Sustainable Tourism, established in 1997.
Ralf has written over 200 articles in science,
management and tourism journals, 8 books, and over
100 consultant reports; and has carried out research
and consulting projects in over 40 countries
worldwide. Recent books include Tourism Ecolabelling
(2001, with Xavier Font); Case Studies in Ecotourism
(2003); Nature-based Tourism, Environment and Land
Management (2003, with co-authors); and
Environmental Impacts of Ecotourism (in press 2003).
