Simon Hudson is an Associate Professor at the
Haskayne School of Business, the University of
Calgary. Simon has held previous teaching positions
at Buckinghamshire & Chilterns University, and the
University of Brighton in England, and has also
worked as a visiting lecturer in the U.S.,
Switzerland, New Zealand and Australia.
Dr. Hudson has lectured in many aspects of tourism
and marketing, and currently teaches Tourism
Marketing, Marketing Communications, and Services
Marketing. Simon has written three books, ten book
chapters and over 20 refereed journal articles over
the last seven years. He has made numerous
conference presentations and has been invited as a
keynote speaker to several international conferences
to speak about his research in the ski industry.
His ongoing research projects are focused on the
responsible marketing of tourism, the distribution
of travel products using the Internet, measuring
service quality, and tourism ethics. Simon is on the
editorial board for three tourism journals, and
reviews articles and textbook for several academic
publishers.
