Michele Martin Bossley was born in Boston, Massachusetts, but grew up in Calgary from the time she was five. Michele has published eight juvenile novels with James Lorimer & Company. Four of these titles, The Perfect Gymnast (1996), Taking a Dive (1997), The Winning Edge (1998) and Queen of the Court (2000), have been selected by the Canadian Children's Book Centre for the Our Choice list. She is currently working on Power Play, a hockey novel planned for fall 2001.
