Ottawa writer Julie Mason, a participant in the Writing Studio (1996), has published in Canadian Forum and in the anthology A Room at the Heart of Things (Vèhicule Press). She is completing her MA in writing at Antioch University. Her story "Calvary" was a finalist in the CBC Radio Literary Competition, the Glimmer Train Short Awards, and the International Short Fiction Competition of the Writers' Workshop, Asheville, North Carolina.
