Andrew Payne is the author of numerous articles on art, literature and the public sphere. He is a member of the Public Access Collective and has co-edited with Mark Lewis both Public 6 (Violence) and Public 9 (Reading our Rights). He is currently completing a doctoral dissertation at the University of Toronto on problems of political incorporation in Shakespeare’s tragedies.
