Sandra Shields has worked as an editor and freelance writer, often collaborating with her husband, photographer David Campion. Their work has received honuorable mention at the National Magazine Awards and a National Media Award from the Canadian Association for Community Living. With support from the International Centre for Human Rights and Democratic Development, they travelled to Namibia in 1996 to document the situation of the Himba tribe. Shields currently lives in Vancouver and is at work on a book about consumer culture. Contributor to: |
