Christopher Wiseman's eighth book
of poetry is Crossing the Salt Flats (Porcupine's Quill
1999). He has published widely in journals and anthologies and was
founder of the creative writing program at the University of Calgary
in 1973. He has taught writing in many places, including The Banff
Centre. He lives in Calgary.
