Meal Plans

The program fee for most Residency and Workshop programs at The Banff Centre includes a meal plan with access to several on-campus dining facilities, offering artists a range of meal options during their stay.

Vistas Dining Room

Most meals are taken in Vistas, the 350-seat dining room, where program participants, faculty, and guests come together to share meals and stories from their day, while basking in the stunning views of the Bourgeau Mountain Range. Vistas offers a unique buffet-style combination of ready-to-enjoy items, as well as items customized “while you wait.” Menus change daily and include hot and cold items, as well as vegetarian and vegan options.

Maclab Bistro

The Maclab Bistro is a fully licensed café and bar with comfortable seating and bright windows looking out across beautiful the mountain valley. It’s the place to go for a quick snack, a casual meal, a relaxing beverage, or your favourite coffee brew. Dine in, or out on the patio. Take-away items are also available.

Le Café

Enjoy made-to-order sandwiches, freshly squeezed juices, quick snacks, and specialty coffees at Le Café. Take-away or grab a seat in the bright, sunny space while saying hello to friends and colleagues coming and going to fitness classes, the gym, or pool at the Recreation Centre downstairs.
