The Digital Studio is equipped with the following equipment:

Studio Station 1

• Epson Stylus Pro 9880 archival inkjet printer with
  • Photo Black ink. 
  • UltraChrome K3™ with Vivid Magenta ink technology
  • Maximum width is up to 44 inches wide

• Epson Perfection V750-M Pro flatbed scanner (4800dpi, 8.5”x11.75”)
• Mac Pro Quad Core 2.8 GHz tower
• Apple Cinema Display

Studio Station 2

• Epson Stylus Pro 9900 archival inkjet printer with
  • Photo and Matte Black inks
  • UltraChrome HDR ink technology 
  • Maximum width is up to 44 inches wide
• Epson Expression 10000XL photo flatbed scanner (2400dpi, large format 12”x17”)
• Nikon Super Coolscan 9000ED multi-format film scanner (4000dpi)
• Mac Pro Quad Core 2.66 GHz tower
• Apple LED 24” Cinema Display

The Digital Studio stocks the following Epson media for sale to program participants:

• Epson Enhanced Matte
• Epson Premium Lustre
• Epson Somerset Fine Art Paper
• Epson Piezo Clear Film

The Epson Perfection V750-M Pro flatbed scanner is capable of scanning up to 8”x10” transparencies and is equipped with 35mm, 120mm, and 4”x5” film holders, in addition to regular flatbed scanning applications.

The Nikon Super Coolscan 9000ED is enabled with the Digital ICE4 Advanced™ automatic correction function. The Nikon Super Coolscan can scan negatives or positives in color or monochrome, 35mm film/slides, and medium format film/slides.

Each studio station is equipped with Adobe Creative Suite 4 Design Standard, which includes Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat, and Bridge software applications.

Participants must bring a personal external hard drive for file storage.
