Your work and stories inspire us.

Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity is committed to building a stronger, more vibrant creative community. That work begins with you, our valued alumni.

Your learning and experience at Banff Centre resonates far beyond your program or residency. Our goal is to provide alumni with opportunities for lifelong learning and creative growth; to build connections between arts and leadership alumni, faculty and mentors; and to learn more about how Banff Centre can continue to support you as an artist.

Banff Centre is proud of our alumni, and all they have contributed to the arts landscape over many years. We are delighted to stay in touch with our alumni and learn about their ongoing artistic endeavours. This campus has hosted and nurtured some of the world’s best creative minds over our 85-year history. Thank you for being part of the legacy of Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity.

Banff Centre Histories

Your shared legacy.

Banff Centre has been training artists since 1933 in the Canadian Rockies. As Banff Centre alumni, you are part of the legacy of artistic creativity and excellence developed here over our 85+ year history.

We invite you to enjoy a walk through time in these program histories pages:

The Artist Fund

Creating access for deserving artists.

Every year, Banff Centre provides support to thousands of artists and leaders to create, to develop solutions, and to make the impossible possible.

The Artist Fund is the place where talent is nurtured and ideas start – where concepts become compositions and raw materials become public installations – where the essence of Banff Centre comes to life. All funds go directly towards our arts programs and supporting deserving artists on their creative journeys.

It’s a simple equation: the more support the Artist Fund receives, the more artists we can bring to Banff Centre to strengthen the creative voices of artists among us.
