In recognition of Canada’s 150th come and enjoy Hans Gmoser’s Skis Over McKinley. Hans was one of the Canadian Rockies pioneering adventure filmmakers.

During this film, Hans Gmoser recounts the daring 1963 ski ascent of Mount McKinley (Denali) in Alaska. Hans kept the camera running through it all, raging rivers, extreme cold, altitude sickness and the threat of avalanche. The film is also peppered with a series of flashbacks of powder skiing in the Selkirks, a crevasse rescue on the Columbia Icefield amongst other great adventures!
