Shannon Bool

Born in Comox, B.C. in 1972, Shannon Bool works and lives in Berlin. Her work has been featured in solo institutional exhibitions at Kunstverein Braunschweig, Germany (upcoming fall 2019); Centre culturel canadien, Paris (2019); Musée d'art de Joliette (2019); Illingworth Kerr Gallery, Calgary (2016); Contemporary Art Gallery, Vancouver (2015); Bonner Kunstverein, Bonn, Germany (2012); GAK-Gesellschaft für Aktuelle Kunst Bremen, Germany (2010); Centre Rhénan d’Art Contemporain Alsace, Altkirch, France (2010). Her work has been included in group exhibitions at Museum für Moderne Kunst Frankfurt am Main, (2017 & 2014), La Biennale de Montreal (2016), The National Gallery Ottawa (2017), Portikus, Frankfurt am Main (2017), The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York (2015 & 2016), and Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo, Turin, Italy (2013).
