Nazir Sabir, President of the Alpine Club of Pakistan, has been part of the mountain landscape his entire life. He spent most of his early climbing career scaling peaks in the Karakoram Range including four 8,000-metre peaks in Pakistan, two with Reinhold Messner. He completed a first ascent of the West/SSW Ridge on K2, and was the first Pakistani to reach the summit of Everest.

He joins author and climber Geoff Powter in conversation.
