Featuring readings from writers in the Late Fall Writers Retreat hosted by guest mentor Zsuzsi Gartner.

Zsuzsi is the author of the acclaimed story collection All the Anxious Girls on Earth and the editor of the award-winning Darwin’s Bastards: Astounding Tales from Tomorrow. Her second book, Better Living through Plastic Explosives, was a Scotiabank Giller Prize finalist. Her fiction has been widely anthologized, broadcast on CBC and NPR, and won National Magazine Awards, most recently in 2016.  She has been on the faculty of UBC’s Creative Writing MFA program and the Banff Centre’s writing programs. Zsuzsi was the 2016 Frank O’Connor International Short Story Fellow for Cork, Ireland, and is the director of Writers Adventure Camp in Whistler, BC.  She lives in Vancouver.
