Create real value in your work and community life.
Leadership Intensive programs at Banff Centre are immersive, 4.5-day experiences that develop rigorous new ways of thinking and doing to build purpose-driven initiatives and institutions.
We believe leadership development is both an inward journey of self-reflection and an outward journey of understanding the systems we operate within. Embarking on these dual learning paths reveals our unique opportunities to step into our leadership potential.
Leadership Intensives provide participants with intimate access to world-class thought-leaders, practitioners, and educators. Each program is informed by artistic and Indigenous perspectives – perspectives that are integral to Banff Centre and essential for leadership in our current times. Our programs invite participants to connect to the power of our campus on Buffalo Mountain, where for thousands of years people have come to seek inspiration.
The full suite of Leadership Intensives enables you to chart a customized, comprehensive learning journey that will help you make your unique contribution to society. The Certificate of Leadership Practice is awarded to individuals who have made a significant commitment to their leadership learning by completing a total of four Leadership Intensives over the course of three years.

We’re in a time of big change – in our identities, the way we relate to one another, and the role that work plays in our lives. In Banff Centre Leadership programs, people over and over again find the space and the learning they need to unlock a greater sense of purpose, and the capacity to pursue it.
