Program Information
The Career Accelerator offers a six-day intensive training program focused on management and industry issues that most affect businesses today. The program blends the fundamentals of new media – the terms, technology, content, and complexity with practical ways to integrate them into your job. Designed by some of Canada’s best industry educators and professionals, it also provides invaluable insights, strategies and connections for career advancement. The top 20 applicants will be accepted and will receive a full scholarship including tuition, travel, meals, and accommodation at The Banff Centre.
This Program has been designed exclusively for women in broadcasting and communications with at least five years full-time experience in the industry who are currently working with new media issues or expect to be in the near future, and who need executive training to integrate new media issues into their management role. The applicant must outline her professional aspirations in the broadcast business and, where relevant, the employer must endorse her application. Admission will be awarded to the top 20 applicants. All tuition, accommodation, meals and travel are included in the program.
