I am a fashion and costume designer from Vancouver and have recently graduated from the Wilson School of Design with a Bachelor’s in Fashion and Technology. Since a very young age I have been inspired to peruse arts, having many role models in my life who were artists. My mother being one of them, who is still often found drawing or painting in her favourite window seat. Textiles was always something I was particularly drawn to, at age 3 I would glue together felt fabric pieces to make fairy skirts for my sister and myself to run around in. Since then, I have had the opportunity to work with and learn from some incredible Canadian designers such as D’Arcy Moses. Who first taught me how to bead and inspired my love of surface design and slow fashion.
