Nestled in the heart of the Canadian Rocky Mountains, Banff Centre is truly one of Canada’s most unconventional venues for meetings. Hosting over 20,000 conference delegates from around the world every year, the Centre combines professional learning opportunities and breathtaking mountain vistas to create unforgettable experiences for your attendees.

From lecture auditoriums to intimate boardrooms, Banff Centre has over 60 exceptional meeting spaces that can accommodate groups from five to 700. Use 72,000 square feet of meeting facilities to design compelling conference experiences and engage a wide variety of attendees.

Indigenous offerings

Banff Centre’s home on the side of Sleeping Buffalo Mountain, in Treaty 7 territory is a sacred place for Indigenous people. Start your conference with a welcome to Treaty 7 Territory by members of the Stoney Nakoda First Nation or gain knowledge and tools to move individually and organizationally into the act of reconciliation through our Truth and Reconciliation program.

Workshop Facilitation

If you are looking to add structure and purpose to your working session, facilitation will help you create participation and lead collaboration. 

Professionally facilitated sessions help groups of leaders strengthen their collective abilities to address complex challenges they face. In addition, they foster productive dialogue and encourage creative solutions.

Conference Planning 

In addition to our innovative programming, Banff Centre offers a variety of services to ensure your meetings run smoothly from start to finish. 

Registration Packages - Conference packages to assist with participant registration, registration kit preparation, final reporting, and more. 

Technical Services - In-house audiovisual and digital technology services and tools to deliver interactive and engaging meetings.

Additional Services - Wi-Fi, computers, faxing, and printing. For larger jobs, Banff Centre also has a print shop on campus.

We recognize, with deep respect and gratitude, our home on the side of Sacred Buffalo Guardian Mountain. In the spirit of respect and truth, we honour and acknowledge the Banff area, known as “Minihrpa” (translated in Stoney Nakoda as “the waterfalls”) and the Treaty 7 territory and oral practices of the Îyârhe Nakoda (Stoney Nakoda) – comprised of the Bearspaw, Chiniki, and Goodstoney Nations – as well as the Tsuut’ina First Nation and the Blackfoot Confederacy comprised of the Siksika, Piikani, and Kainai. We acknowledge that this territory is home to the Shuswap Nations, Ktunaxa Nations, and Metis Nation of Alberta, Rockyview District 4. We acknowledge all Nations who live, work, and play here, help us steward this land, and honour and celebrate this place.
