Pat is a photographer in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories who covers people, life, and environment in Canada's Far North. Pat's work takes a documentary approach to the stories impacting Northerners with a special focus on Indigenous issues, empowerment, and conservation. His most recent project about Indigenous environmental stewards in the Northwest Territories was published by The Narwhal and nominated for Outstanding Photojournalism at the Canadian Association of Journalists Awards and the National Magazine Awards.

Pat is a member of the Timiskaming First Nation on the territory that is now Quebec, and he's part of the international photo collective Natives Photograph. He is also on the editorial board of True North Photo Journal and president of The Far North Photo Festival.

His work has been published by Canadian Geographic, Maclean's, The Globe and Mail, The Narwhal, Vice, Feature Shoot, Photolife, and more.
