The Visual Arts Lecture Series presents talks by leading Canadian and international artists, curators, and academics.

Join Alyssa Fearon, Visual Art faculty from the Early Career Banff Artists in Residency program, who is the sought after Director/Curator at Dunlop Art Gallery in Regina, Saskatchewan, for an afternoon discussion in Banff. Curator, educator, and arts manager - Fearon’s practice and broader experience is deeply based in community. Her curatorial approach prioritizes the voices of historically underrepresented groups, while her national experience as an arts professional has equipped her with a broad understanding of the Canadian arts sector and its needs. Fearon seeks to foster connections with groups that have been historically and systemically excluded from the gallery milieu.
