Canadian filmmaker Alanis Obomsawin is a force to be reckoned with. She made her first documentary film in for the National Film Board in 1971 and has made 40 films since. She is a gifted singer, an officer of the Order of Canada and Indigenous activist.
Alanis was at The Banff Centre in 2015.
